Favorite Celebrity Chef: Alton Brown

When I was a kid, my dad and I used to watch the cooking show Good Eats with Alton Brown as the host. That guy showed you how to make everything. The best part about him was that he used everyday ingredients that the typical American could afford. How annoying is it when you watch a cooking show and the chef uses ingredients that are too expensive and too exotic to be found at your local grocery store?

So today I've been creeping on Alton Brown's facebook and twitter. The first thing that stood out to me was the video he posted on how to tie a tie. Just four hours ago he posted a cooking tip about separating eggs. I found his facebook to be quite humorous and entertaining. The reason why I think he posts all of this random stuff is because he wants to come off as a normal person. He also wants to help your typical American when it comes to cooking meals (and of course how to properly tie a tie).
