LinkedIn Profile

I would like to present the professional side of myself on my LinkedIn Profile. I would like for people to clearly see my education background as well as any experience that I may have for a job. I do not want my LinkedIn Profile to be like it would on social media because that shows my personality and my social side. I would want to appear as professional as possible on LinkedIn because the audience is different than it would be on Facebook. On LinkedIn, I would not post selfies with all of my best friends talking about my pumpkin spice latte. Instead, on my LinkedIn page, the content of my profile would be more professional looking. Instead of having my relationship status and my political views present, my LinkedIn page would be more focused on my education and career goals because I want to cater to my audience.

Some of the information that I will be adding to my LinkedIn Profile will include: education information, career goals, volunteer experience, job experience, etc. Some things that would not be appropriate to add to my LinkedIn Profile include: relationship status, selfies, information about family members, political views, religious views, etc. I have never had or used a LinkedIn Profile before so this will be new to me as I make it. However, I am going to make this LinkedIn Profile page look as professional and appropriate as possible. In addition, I will make sure that all the words I use are grammatically and politically correct. Then, hopefully all these things will pay off for me in the future when I start looking for a job.
