Some of my "strange" food obsessions

I haven’t told you everything yet, but if I were to fill in some of gaps, I’d tell you this…
Late last night, I went out with my friends to Colton’s Steakhouse after going to the comedy show. We had already eaten dinner but on of our friends had not eaten dinner yet because he had a band concert. So our friend who had not eaten dinner yet ordered a burger and fries. The rest of us, trying to save our money, just ordered a side dish. My friends gave me a hard time when I ordered fried okra instead of French fries or potato skins. They thought that it was the strangest choice I could have made, but I could not have been more satisfied with my decision. Fried Okra is one of those foods that I wish I could have more often. Whenever we eat at Church’s Chicken, I always order it because it is so tasty. I am not really sure how to describe fried okra when people ask me what it is. All I know is that it is a great and unique food that everyone should consider stepping outside of there comfort zone and try it.
Another weird food that I’m slightly obsessed with is buttered popcorn flavored jelly beans. Whenever my family and I go to our local grocery store, there is this Jelly Belly machine with a wide assortment of jelly beans to choose from. My dad always goes for the black licorice ones (gross), my brother Curtis will eat just about any flavor of jelly bean, and then I always have to have those Buttered Popcorn flavored jelly beans. In my opinion, they are the best jelly beans that Jelly Belly has created. But this statement has caused much debate among my family and I through the years.
