After taking this food survey for class, I was surprised to see some of the results. The first thing that I found to be interesting was that over fifty percent have never heard of CAFOs. The next is that sixty-six percent do not buy food from a farmer's market. In my hometown the majority of the people attended the local farmer's market. But considering the fact that this is a diverse school with students from all walks of life, this statistic is not as suprising as I first thought it was. Something I also thought was interesting is that 56% do not drink soda in a typical day. For some reason I thought more people drank at least one soda per day.
